Thank you for checking out my blog. I use this to post political analysis, religious commentaries, scholarly papers, and just about anything else that is on my mind.

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and attend church at First Baptist Church in Frisco, Texas. I am an Army veteran with deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Nobel Eagle. Currently, I am a full-time software developer. On the side, I follow NFL and college football, play guitar for Northbound Soul, blog about various topics, teach youth and adult small group classes, lead worship, and play the occasional video game. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and am currently working on my Master’s degree in Theological Studies at Liberty University.

I have taken up running recently in order to get in better shape. My last race was the Tour des Fleurs 10K in September 2012 where my time was 52:40 (8:30/mile).

I am married to my awesome wife and we have two beautiful little girls.
